I do prefer a muffin to a crumpet, to be honest.

Both are great, though.

I saw a bloke open a tin of chicken soup and drink it from the can whilst walking down the road on Friday, obviously without heating it up. There's some fucking wronguns out there.

I would think untoasted crumpets will lead to some spectacularly loud trouser trumpeting

Waitrose sour dough crumpets are ok
But own brand cheapish are better than those thick doorsteps from kingsmill or warburtons

Re: eating CRUMPETS untoasted
Crumpets must be GRILLED

Toasters are not man enough for the job

Bottom and top must be crunchy to the bite
Centre must be soft

Butter
Marmite is needed on 3 out of every 4 crumpets
